COMPASS provides programming and housing for participants in both a 72 hour and 6-day, state certified Driver Intervention Program. These programs, 3-day and 6-day DIP, offer offenders an alternative to serving their sentences in jail.

Curriculum
The 3-day program consists of 8 1/2 hours of alcohol/drug education, 4 hours of small group, 1 hour of assessment/testing.

The 6-day program includes all aspects for the 3-day program, plus a complete assessment of substance abuse issues, and additional education on substance abuse issues. Participants in the 6-day program begin on Thursday evening and stay until the following Wednesday.

Facilities
DIP participants are housed in a separate area of our Collingwood facility in semi-private dormitory style rooms. Delicious meals are served in our main dining facility, and participants have daily access to full work-out facilities in our on-site workout room.

Registration
To register for the Driver Intervention Program call COMPASS at 419-241-8827. Registration for the 3-day program is $325 and for the 6-day program is $600. You can also register for DIP using our online registration form **.
